Children between the ages of 6 and 18 at the time of admission who have experienced emotional difficulties, behavior
problems, and/or emotional and physical abuse and neglect, are served by Grace Children's Home.
The residential program involves 3 Cottage living units. The overall philosophy is to mainstream each youth into community
and school events and to enhance their self-worth by improving their ability to make positive choices.

Family Care Program
The Family Care Program serves as an extension of our Residential Group Home Program. Youth in placement in our
Group Home Program often have difficulty in transitioning to their home, a foster home, or assisted adult living, depending
upon their individual circumstances.
The Family Care Program serves to aid the youth during this time of transition. Through the provision of these
transitional services, youth and families are often able to adapt and adjust to the next stage in their lives.
Foster Care
Foster parents are recruited, trained, and supported for a period of time by the agency for those youth who are unable
to return to their home and foster care is the long-term goal.

Assisted Adult Living
Youth who are 17-18 years old and are unable to return home or be placed in a foster home become a part of the Assisted
Adult Living Program. These youth learn to become less dependent on other adults for their day-to-day care and begin
the process of "moving out" and practicing self-sufficency. Youth learn hands-on skills such as budgeting, job seeking,
job maintenance, housekeeping, cooking, menu planning, grocery shopping, and a variety of other skills necessary for successful
adult living.
